I like to think that there are certain things that distinct moments and places. A cup of coffee sitting in an airport after a week long mission trip is something that I will remember forever. The trip had just ended and I had just left Malawi, Africa. Those 10 days I was there changed my life, in more ways than I now can even comprehend. Writing about it was my first step, and when I got off that plane in London, I grabbed this cup of coffee and sat down and just started writing.

Spring Break

 Spring Break was finally here. I got to go to Wichita, KS with one of my best friends and roommate next semester for a week of relaxing, friends, and delicious food.

Janet Pitney

 Janet came to me asking for us to set up a shoot. Being a freshman in college, she never got to have her her senior photos taken. So we went out on a sunny afternoon and took some senior style photos with some more artistic photos taken too.

Snow Day

 It snowed two days in a row this fall semester, and with classes canceled, what do eight friends do who are photographers? Have a snow day, grab our cameras, take pictures and go sledding! It was the perfect way to relax.

Mark + Molly

 The day was perfect and I had a blast shooting my two dear friends, Mark and Molly, in late September. Cowboy hats, horses, and a beautiful ranch were themed around this couple shoot. It was my first time shooting a couple and they couldn't have been more supportive and flexible too. They are not engaged and plan on being wed in late July.

JBU Dorm Hall

 UpOld! That's the name of my dorm hall at John Brown University that asked me to do a studio shoot at the beginning of the semester. It was total of 40 girls, plus the RA's.
